Join us for the 2025 Georgia Libraries Conference
The Georgia Library Association will be hosting the Georgia Libraries Conference (GLC) in-person on October 8 - 10, 2025, in Columbus, GA at the Columbus GA Convention & Trade Center. This conference is a place for our members and guests to showcase their professional and scholarly accomplishments with our profession at large.
Our theme this year is "Georgia Libraries: Leading Change, Building Futures." Our featured keynote speaker for the conference will be announced soon!
This year the conference will be held in person. There will not be a virtual session. We are looking forward to over 50 sessions across topics relevant for our entire membership, including a special preconference option on the morning of October 8th.
eRead Georgia Preconference
Wednesday, October 8, 9am-12noon

In this half-day preconference, attendees will explore the ins and outs of library ebook advocacy, including the threats and opportunities for digital access, advocacy for digital rights, the complex world of ebook licensing, and legislation that is changing the way we think about ebook procurement. Participants will understand the current issues and trends affecting library ebook access and ways they can involve their stakeholders to advance the conversation.

Registration
Registration options include regular member rates, student/retiree/unemployed member rates, and non-member rates. Advance registration rates are available through October 7. On-site registrations and registrations after October 7 will pay an additional late registration fee.
