GLA Scholarships
Each year, GLA awards two scholarships to individuals pursuing Master's degrees in Library and Information Science. The Beard Scholarship ($1,500) and Hubbard Scholarship ($3,000) are meant to offset the high cost of pursuing further education. Recipients must commit to working in a library-related capacity or a Georgia library for one year after graduation, depending on which scholarship they receive. For additional information and requirements, please review the Application Information or contact the committee directly at scholarship@georgialibraryassociation.org. The 2026 Application Form is now live as of March 25, 2026. Completed applications and all supporting documentation must be submitted by the scholarship application deadline on Sunday, May 17, 2026 @ 11:59 PM. |
